I can't believe I didn't subscribe to this... I guess I ended up looking at it more via your guides than anything else. Anyways, rectified ;D
I say tell your story in whatever fashion you think is best, and when you've got the practice and time, you'll be able to get more elaborate with what you're doing. Just keep putting pencil to paper for the time being (or .. digital pen to tablet... but you get what I'm saying), and your speed will improve with time.
Just don't give up, because you tell interesting stories, and we'd be poorer for the lack..

I found out a couple months ago that a lot of people didn't even know I had a comic :P
