Layout Guide

Introduction

Welcome to the Comic Fury layout guide. This guide is here to help you make a layout as unique as your comic. The purpose of this guide is not to walk you through the process of customizing your layout, or adding certain graphical effects. The purpose is to teach you how the system works, to help you look at an existing Comic Fury layout and understand what it's doing, and to help you know how to change it to get the look you want.

For examples, this guide makes reference to a comic called "Simplesville", which exists at simple.thecomicseries.com. Simplesville uses the layout included as an example in this guide, exactly as it appears on the explanation pages.

Comic Fury's layout system is mostly HTML and CSS, both of which are topics too large to include in this guide, and they are well documented elsewhere. I'd suggest looking at W3Schools to get an understanding of either of the languages. That's where I learned most of what I know on the topics.

If you have any questions, comments, corrections, requests or feedback, the please leave a comment on this forum thread. Thank you for reading the Layout Guide, and I hope you find it helpful.
